HEY, THIS GOAT CHEESE IS KIND OF STICKY

TEEN ON LIFE SUPPORT AFTER BRAWL
[UPDATE:  This kid has now died.]

As usual, the cops and the press are trying to hide the racial angle of this, but they let the cat out of the bag with the statement that the brawl started after a "racial slur."  That's a common claim by Blacks if they are caught attacking Whites.

Many of the comments following the above article are correct in the claim that when it is a White victim of a Black mob the races are covered up, but when it is a Black victim of even a single White race is emphasized.

And, by the way, when is the last time you ever heard of a White mob attacking Blacks?  Almost never happens.

"They just said 'Oh, white girl bleeds a lot."

Blacks attack Whites and top cop tries to downplay race (as usual).  Reverse the races and let some White kid so much as look the wrong way at a Black and everyone would be screaming "hate crime."

Are you tired of the double standard yet?

PERRY VALENTINE PICKS A NIT

This is a photo of Perry Valentine.  He's an ex-city employee who lives in the College Park neighborhood.

He's been showing up at City Council meetings over the past few months and constantly rails against the good Councilmembers and their attempts to improve Costa Mesa.

Improvers say there's a high probability that Valentine may make a run for the City Council and that his sudden high profile appearances at City Council meetings may be an attempt to get face and name recognition.

At last night's City Council meeting, Valentine whined about Colin McCarthy's comments made at an earlier City Council meeting about the City having one vehicle for every employee.

Instead of 400 plus vehicles as McCarthy stated, Valentine demurred and said that we only have 300 plus vehicles and that some of those are  trailers and things that don't have their own motors.

Yawn.

CITY LOWERS RATES FOR EVENTS COMING TO CITY

The good Councilmembers--Monahan, Bever and Mensinger--voted at last night's City Council meeting to lower rates charged to those bringing events to the city.  Righeimer was absent. Big government, big spender Wendy Leece voted against lowering the rates.

  1. Perry was making $120,000 a year in the City's Planning Department when he retired in 2004. His pension package is based on that amount and is very healthy, including lifetime healthcare. Of course, he wants to keep things the way they are--he gets rich, we stay poor!! He is another posterchild for what is wrong with the system.

  2. So glad to see you at the podium again Tuesday night Martin. As usual, you were the only speaker with a brain.

Nobody wants to be forced to listen to the likes of Perry Valentine, Sandy Genis, Eleanor Egan, Greg Ridge, Beth Refrakus, Sue Lester, Elouise Ott, and Robin Leffler. None of them have anything worthwhile to say. Their presence does nothing more than elongate the city council meetings (and is the very reason most residents refuse to watch the meetings).

Somebody needs to tell that crowd to stay home.
