FOLEY LOSES BIKE TRAIL FIGHT
Citycouncilbumponalog Katrina Foley pedaled hard at the City Council meeting last night to have the Council approve a plan to put in a bike trail in a flood control channel that runs partly behind Foley's own Mesa del Mar neighborhood.
Unfortunately, for Ms. Foley, many of her neighbors didn't like the plan and asked the Council to turn it down. Maybe they didn't want to look out their back windows to see Foley bicycling along back there.
Foley and her pal Linda Dixon voted to approve the plan, and Mansoor, Bever and Leece voted against it.
Leece told Foley that since it was her plan and her neighborhood, that Foley should have been more in touch with her neighbors before having the plan come before the Council.
