HATCH HAS TOP SECRET PROCESS TO SELECT A NEW POLICE CHIEF AND MANY CITIZENS AREN'T HAPPY ABOUT THIS

The Daily Pilot has another article today about the selection process for a new Costa Mesa police chief, and once again a panel of citizens is mentioned.

Who is on this panel?  A bunch of lefties?  We don't know.  Our attempts to find out have been rebuffed by the city government that claims it is transparent.

Estancia High School principal and liberal Kirk Bauermeister may possibly be on the panel, but this has not been confirmed.

Who is being considered for chief?  We don't know that either.

If  Hatch picks the wrong guy for chief, you can bet many Improvers are going to be pissed off in a major way and that their anger is going to also be aimed directly at the City Council for going along with this top secret selection process.

We know that Improvers won't let the Council dance away from a bad decision while saying that the selection was out of their hands.

The buck stops at the Council.

Recent comment in the Daily Pilot seems to indicate that a frequent shrill commenter that calls itself (sic) soccermom or CMSoccerMom may be named "Terry."  Anyone have a last name and confirmation?

soccer mom terry: quit trashing the city with illegally placed signs and they probably won't be taken. Also, Mensinger had no signs so you are wrong again by claiming he did.

INDEPENDENCE DAY IN COSTA MESA

July 4, 2011--The first independence day in Costa Mesa

--Independence from out  of town tyrants who have been arrogantly trying to run our city to our detriment.

--Independence from a few out of town bad cops who think they can carpet bag into Costa Mesa and control the City Council (well, they still control one person on the Council).

--Independence from out of town employees who often make more money and have better benefits than the vast majority of the citizens that pay them.

--Independence from a few local left wing kooks who are the puppets and running dogs of the out of towners.

--Independence from a budget process that has screwed Costa Mesans who want an improved city so that out of town employees could live the good life in their far flung cities.

And, if someone wants to know where they can put the above pictured A-Frame and trailer, we're sure that a few thousand Costa Mesans can tell them where to put it.
