Since Weitzberg's daughter is married to Supreme Frogette, Robin Leffler's son, one has to wonder what is being said in the smoke filled rooms where the Froggies are hoping to take Costa Mesa backwards to a time when there was no improvement and only crime, gangs and slums.
You may recall Leffler wearing a frumpy looking bathrobe to a city council meeting.

The above pop-science article fails to give any good hypotheses about the adaptive function of feathers.
How about this for a hypothesis: If dinosaurs were cold blooded--they would slow down in cold temperatures, but those dinosaurs with more feathers would have the feathers to keep them warm so they could move fast to avoid larger, but perhaps less feathered, enemies in colder times and also so they could continue to eat during cooler days or nights.

Frankly, when all is said and done, we'll bet this was simply an error during the fog of war that is engulfing the Ukraine.
Anyone who has been in combat situations knows that everything is confusing. You're being shot at and bombed. There's noise in all directions and there's dust and smoke and yelling. In modern warfare there aren't lines of enemy troops all wearing a different uniform than yours marching towards you. Often times you're shooting at an enemy you can't even see and he's shooting at you but can't see you.
And, the situation in Ukraine would be funny if people weren't being killed. The government of Ukraine that is supported by the U.S. is full of what are called neo-Nazis, and the breakaway parts of the country are loyal to Russia and just want to peacefully link with Russia in some way or other economically and perhaps even as a part of Russia, since many of the people in these parts are Russians.
Russia is not the enemy of the U.S. and the GOP neocons need to stop trying to make that nation our enemy for political reasons. And, that's exactly what they're doing. They're trying to build up a boogeyman that is really no enemy of ours at all, so they can campaign against their make believe boogeyman.

There seems to be a mental disorder among many Whites that causes them to bound off to non-White lands where they can show the non-White "natives" how to be White. These pathetic types have been with us for many years. We saw them do this to the American Indians and many others.
The best ethical and moral policy is to not butt into the affairs of other peoples. They do not need the "help" of neurotic Great White Mothers and Great White Fathers.
