CHRIS MCEVOY FOR CITY COUNCIL

The only true environmentalist and no-growth possible candidate for the city council is Chris McEvoy. And, he knows it.
Some of the others may mouth a few words about slowing down new construction and about too many people and too much traffic, but anyone who knows their records or listens to them knows they're just mouthing sweet nothings and won't follow through if they are elected.
McEvoy is the only one out there who stays true to his no-growth message. This is an indication that he really means it and will stick with that message.
And, the last time McEvoy ran--and with hand made signs and without taking money from anyone--he almost won a seat on the city council!
So, we think McEvoy should stand up and run again.
C'mon McEvoy get into the race. Politics isn't a spectator sport. You have to be in the arena fighting the good fight to be noticed and to win so you can bring in the changes to the present direction of the city.
Sitting on the sidelines won't get you or your ideals anyplace at all. Without you, it'll just be business as usual no matter who is elected. You should know that.
