OBAMA'S JOB SPEECH WAS A BUST

When the engine in your car isn't working right, you don't try to fix things by buying new seat covers.

The U.S. has structural problems.  They can be boiled down to saying that we don't make things, we don't grow things, we don't take things out of the ground. 

We have become a nation of middlemen and paper shufflers not producers.

To fix our economy and create jobs, we need to start making things, growing things and taking things out of the ground once again.  This is the only way to fix the structural problems and create genuine wealth, not just paper wealth that will continually collapse.

LATEST ABOUT THE KELLY THOMAS KILLING FROM FRIENDS FOR FULLERTON'S FUTURE AND A FEW WORDS ABOUT COSTA MESA

Be sure to spend some time on FFFF's site.  These guys are not letting the authorities sweep the beating death of Kelly Thomas under the carpet.

Contrast the intelligent citizen activism for the right cause and aimed at the right people in Fullerton with the unintelligent citizen activism for the wrong cause and aimed at the wrong people that we see from some lefties  in Costa Mesa.

At Tuesday's Costa Mesa City Council meeting, we saw the same small clique of lefties slither up to the podium to whine the same tired things that have been said over and over again.

Many in the clique said that the City Council members weren't listening to the "people" because the Council wouldn't cancel the layoffs.  This is nonsense.  The Council members were listening.  They just choose to ignore lefty goof balls who want us to pay more for services than we have to pay and who want a big bloated government.

It's always a good idea to understand the real issues and to keep them in mind, otherwise the lefties will confuse you with their usual lies.

Here's what is really going on and why the CM PRESS generally supports what the New Council is doing:-

--The New Council is trying to right-size government.  It became bloated after many prior Councils just kept letting it grow.

--The New Council is trying to get the best price for the services the City provides citizens.

--The New Council is trying to take the power away from the out of town unions and return the power to the people who actually live in Costa Mesa.

--The New Council is trying to get Costa Mesa's priorities straightened out.  In the view of the CM PRESS, this can lead to a meaningful improvement of the Westside and with the improvement, an improvement in our schools and in the quality of life for all citizens of Costa Mesa.
