Friday Night's DUI Checkpoint Results
The Costa Mesa Police Department conducted a DUI/Drivers License Checkpoint on Friday, September 3, 2010, on 19th Street at Pomona Avenue.
987 Vehicles went through the checkpoint
878 Drivers were screened
7 DUI investigations
1 DUI suspect arrested
31 Driver’s license investigations
27 Citations issued
15 Vehicles towed
CM PRESS NOTE: Let's see if the Pilot scrubs the above stats and removes the important "31 Driver's license investigations," from their report as they did on the last checkpoint.
Remember, "driver's license investigations," may be an indication of how many illegal aliens came to the attention of the cops.
