These hoaxes seem to happen all the time. And, it's usually Whites who are blamed for the hate crimes that are then proven to be hoaxes.
The problem is that the press usually goes wide with the first reports of the hate crimes and then only local when the hoax is revealed.
This acts as a blood libel against Whites.
