COSTA MESA ON ITS WAY TO BEING A POLICE STATE CITY?
The mostly out of town union cops want you to vote for Stephens (a lawyer with offices in Newport Beach) and Genis. They'd also like you to vote for Wetzberg, but as we wrote before, it appears they're trying a bullet vote strategy and Weitzberg
drew the short straw.
Maybe they've promised Weitzberg a seat on the Planning Commission in return for him not making a stink about being discarded, or maybe they figure that this is so late in the game that he can't make enough of a stink to be heard.
As in the past, this small lefty ideological clique wants to elect puppets to the City Council who will help this group protect and serve themselves at the expense of Costa Mesa citizens.

ReplyDeleteNow this is about the funniest thing I have read this week. Geoff West calling his opponents liars.
West says: he's never seen an election like this, but what frustrates him the most is people's "willingness to flat-out lie. "It's astounding, because how do you defeat a liar?" West said. "You just have to call them out, I guess."
For those who have not had the "pleasure" of reading any of West's daily attacks, Mr. West has been on a campaign for years to defeat anyone that does not fit into his mold of how our city should be run. His tactics have been ruthless and relentless. His personal vendettas transparent. His personal attacks appalling. In almost real-time, he fabricates lies to fit his agenda as easily as a crime novelist writes a crime novel.
Now he has the unbelievable audacity to talk about all the liars out there during this election? Unbelievable. Mr. West, the ringleader and master of the cesspool of lies and contempt for everything that is good for our city, sits tirelessly at his keyboard day after day spewing his contempt, never missing an opportunity to spew his conspiracy and corruption theories. His sick and demented mind can find a negative angle on just about anything positive this council does and those who support them.
Mr. West is the epitome of what is wrong with our society. He gives nothing to our city and only provides a forum to express pure hate for his followers.
