BLACK GANG MEMBERS THEATEN TO "KILL ANY WHITE GUYS THEY SEE WALKING THE STREET."
Link

We'll bet you didn't see this story anyplace but here. Reverse the races and this would be front page news nationwide.

The main stream media constantly try to downplay non-white crime and emphasize white crime in an obvious attempt to have you think that violent crime is an equal opportunity employer. It isn't. Not by a long shot.

DE NIRO SET TO PLAY VINCE LOMBARDI IN NEW MOVIE
Link

Good casting. De Niro is perfect for the role.

Dear reader, if you should run into Robert De Niro, ask him if he knows anything about my clock. I'm not accusing, you understand. Just wondering. Hey, it's okay, I don't need it anymore.

Trivia alert for new readers: Robert De Niro and I did a play together in NYC, and during the play someone broke down my seventh floor walk-up apartment door and stole my really, really cheap clock, but left my $20 bill untouched that was right next to it. And, twenty bucks then was more like fifty or even a hundred bucks today.

Now, I ask you, dear reader, who would do something like that? Not a junkie, surely. They go for the bucks. Not a cuckoo-and-angry-mad girl friend. They do things like plant unmentionables where a guy won't notice them but where a new girlfriend will find them; like in the cushions of a ratty brown couch you found on the street and hauled on your back up seven flights of stairs to your apartment and which left gashes in your back for about six months. Ah, I'm just sayin'.

Anyway, who would be cuckoo-mad enough to walk up seven flights of stairs and be strong enough to break down a door with several locks, including the burglar's bane--a police lock--brave all the cockroaches in my apartment and then only take a cheap battery operated clock from my bed stand and not take my twenty bucks?

My eyes narrow to slits.

I deduce. Why, a method actor of course! Yes, Watson, er, dear friends, New York is swarming with cuckoo-mad method actors all looking to pick up bits and pieces of real life to inspire them in their work.

You'll see these cuckoo-mad method actors coming out of Stella Adler's Acting School (both De Niro and I went there at the same time) and watching people on the street and occasionally making character notes in little notebooks for future reference and sometimes trying to get some physical object to represent the character: "Homeless man. Early 40's. Brown coat. Long grey matted hair. Beard. Limp. Skinny. Stooped over. Holes in shoes. One eye half closed. Missing front tooth. Baggy pants with rope for belt. Smiles while asking for money. Constantly tugs on beard with left hand. Lisps because of missing tooth. Darting eyes. Looks hyper. Too much sugar? Caffeine? Drugs? Gave him a buck for one of his gloves."

But, a cheap clock? Well, why not? De Niro moved in with Jake LaMotta when he did Raging Bull and wore the same type of underwear, etc. as LaMotta to get the feel of the character, and after our play together, De Niro did the movie Taxi Driver featuring an ex-Marine who dressed the way I did in NYC and who was similar to one of the characters I did in the play.

And, remember, I am an ex-Marine and De Niro was never in any military service. So, what went into his book of character notes? Where would he find the inspiration to play an alienated ex-Marine in NYC who was marginally, even accidentally or fatefully, interested in politics (at that time I was also one of the first members of a very early libertarian group called the Society for Individual Liberty).

Anyway, Bobby, give me a call. I'm still in SAG and I'm in between roles right now. I'd be great in a movie about Vince Lombardi because, ah, I saw a football game on TV once. And, I promise to not try to upstage you like last time.

Natural selection playing out in political movements as it always does.

This group, The Real Coffee Party, says the Tea Party movement is being hijacked by neo-cons and the Coffee Party is an Obama front.

BLACK OHIO STATE SHOOTER SAID HIS BOSSES WERE UNFAIR
Link

Was late to work, slept on job, couldn't follow instructions. How unfair of the bosses to not like this. Must have been racist bosses.

Again, violent crime is not an equal opportunity. Know it and be safer. Ignore it and you increase your odds of becoming a victim.
