COSTA MESA...

All is well in Costa Mesa as improvement continues.

Meanwhile, the tiny herd of haters--a sterile and effete gaggle of nincompoops--continue to sputter like the dried up and empty husks they are. Spit!  They are a disgusting waste of air, these deadenders whose hate speech sounds ever more like death rattles.

Before the Internet you might have seen some of these scumbags writing on restroom walls.  That's the IQ
level of these creeps.

Before the last election these haters
mouthed off constantly about how they were going to take back the city council.  They didn't.  They're stupid and their shallow view of the way things work is laughable.

Now, they're saying wait for the next election.  Well, we won't give anything away, but they're going to be surprised again.  It's not even hard to outsmart these dopes.  It's way too easy. Hardly a challenge.

MANSOOR GETTING BACK IN THE SADDLE?

Nice column in the Daily Pilot by Allan Mansoor that uses the issue of vaccinations to hint at the need for the right of individuals to make choices and not have the government decide and choose for us.

THESE FROGS MAY BE EVOLVING INTO TWO NEW SPECIES RIGHT IN FRONT OF OUR EYES

Another possible example of rapid speciation that I've written about many times in my longer essays.

STUDY OF WARNING CUES FOR SURVIVAL

Humans also give off and receive warning cues, but too many humans seem to be oblivious to them as they override their natural instincts due to societal conditioning.

Overriding your natural instincts is not a good survival strategy.

In humans, the king of our senses is sight.  This is the sense that picks up most of the danger cues whether you are a potential prey or a potential victim.  Your eyes don't lie.  Of course, there are other more subtle senses at work also but generally if you are an awake and aware person it is your eyes that can help you survive.

How can we say that our sight is the king of our senses?  Easy.  In humans, our libido is strongly connected to our eyes. We receive visual mating cues.  So, why does that make eyes the king of our senses? It is because nature's main command to all living organisms is:  Make more like yourself, or in Biblical terms: Go forth and multiply.  This is writ large in all DNA.  And, to make this reproduction work automatically, nature has evolved different organisms with different ways to multiply and expand their kind. But to go forth and multiply, you have to survive.  Being a frugal engineer, nature has usually linked the instinct to survive with the instinct to breed because the survival of the individual is really more about the survival of the type of organism that it is. However, the individual is needed for the the type to survive.

In dogs, just to give one other example of this king of the senses concept, the king of the senses is smell. Dog libidos are strongly linked to smell. A dog Playboy magazine wouldn't have pictures of female dogs, but their scents. Smell is also how dogs locate food, smell danger, etc.

The reality of nature is that "different" means potential danger.  Humans sense "different" via our eyes. Dogs sense "different" via their noses. The principle is the same.  But, when we humans say that we sense danger from differences in other humans, there are those who will jump up and say that this leads to prejudice and that we are all just humans.  Well, that simplistic view is wrong from an evolutionary standpoint and here's why. We are in never ending gene wars.  It is part of nature and is necessary for evolution. The gene wars are mainly subconscious. There is no evil intent.  It is just genes trying to survive and become the only kind of genes for what they create in flesh.  The gene wars carry on right in our own bodies as different versions of genes for our physical and mental characteristics battle it out to see which is expressed.  Eye color genes give a simple example. Genes for different color eyes battle it out to become the eye color for this or that individual. Hair color and texture, etc. and all other characteristics we have battle for expression (read dominance).  It is survival of the fittest among genes.
