THIS JUST IN--POLICE CHIEF GAZSI TO RETIRE EFFECTIVE DECEMBER 7
[Here's the unedited Press Release we just received at 4:34 PM, 11/25/14]
Costa Mesa Police Chief Tom Gazsi announces his retirement
Posted Date: 11/25/2014
Costa Mesa Police Chief Tom Gazsi, who served for 30 years in
law enforcement in the Newport-Mesa community, today announced his retirement,
effective Dec. 7. He will begin work soon in a newly created deputy chief
position for the Port of Los Angeles, overseeing emergency management and field
operations.
“We’re very grateful for Chief Gazsi’s steady leadership in Costa Mesa during some challenging times,” said City CEO Tom Hatch. “We’re sorry to see him go, but we wish him the best during the next chapter of his life.”
Hatch said Capt. Rob Sharpnack will serve as acting police chief upon Gazsi’s retirement.
“I leave with deeply mixed feelings,” Gazsi said. “I have great regard for the Costa Mesa Police Department, its strong legacy and its reputation for exceptional service in this remarkable community. But the opportunity with the Port of Los Angeles is a unique and exciting opportunity that was difficult to pass up.”

No doubt the haters will try to make something out of this, but it sounds to us as though there is no back story here and that the Chief simply found a better gig, just as he indicates in the press release.

What would you like the mayor to do, Ms. Spadoni? Just be a quiet victim? That way might just embolden those who might cause the mayor and his family harm.
Again, what would you do, Ms. Spadoni, if you were an elected official and someone put a tracking device on your car or if a private detective tailed you and called in a DUI report and you hadn't even been drinking, and what if that private detective who had tailed you and who had called in the DUI report had been hired by the law firm that represents the police union?
Would you, Ms. Spadoni, just ignore it?
Wouldn't you be worried that something else might be done if you just remain silent? Wouldn't you like to get to the bottom of all this and get it stopped? Well, wouldn't you?
And what would you do? Wouldn't you hire a law firm to bring suit to get all the facts revealed in a court of law and to find out who is ultimately behind these actions and who is involved? Isn't that the proper way to do things?
What you know for a fact is that there is a private detective paid by a law firm that is paid by the police union.
Isn't it proper to follow the money trail as we so often hear? Doesn't that make sense? And, if some in the money trail didn't do anything wrong, so be it. Let all the facts come out in court under oath.
Here's one of Ms. Spadoni's many comments. This one appears under THIS article in the Daily Pilot about motel residents suing the city over an ordinance that they feel is wrong.
Mary Spadoni · Top Commenter · Costa Mesa, California
Let the law suits roll on...a sign of really poor leadership and even poorer decision making skills. All the money that could be directly aiding our city is now going to be invested in legal fees...and they are going to be horrendous. Wherever the mayor goes lawsuits aren't far behind...from suing over election results in FV, suing CM Police Assoc. etc..

*Ms. Spadoni says she is a retired law enforcement officer of 25 years, so we're interested in why she doesn't want the mayor to use the law as it is meant to be used.

IMPROVEMENT CHUGS ALONG AND THOSE TRYING TO DERAIL IT CONTINUE TO
LOSE AND BE SEEN AS THE HATERS THAT THEY ARE--GIVE THANKS WHERE THANKS ARE TRULY DUE AND IGNORE THE HATERS
If you haven't done so recently, take a drive around Costa Mesa, and if you've lived here for at least 20 years try to remember how bad things used to be--drive-by shootings, ugly streetscapes, and many more things that pointed to a city going down hill.
In your drive today, you'll see bustling businesses, great looking streetscapes and a look and a feel to Costa Mesa that is one of renewal.
The Eastside has become the new Newport Beach but without blowing sand and summer Inland Empire crowds mucking things up.
Most of us are familiar with the new cities to the south of us that grew by design and thus have a nice look and feel to them--well, if you drive on parts of Harbor Blvd. in Costa Mesa right now, you might think you're in Irvine or some other new city. That's how much things have changed in Costa Mesa due to the work of the Righeimer City Council.
And, while you're driving, take a look at the constantly revitalizing Westside. New homes are popping up that fit in beautifully with the existing industrial buildings, making for an eclectic and vibrant part of town instead of a slum, no-go area.
Much more work needs to be done, but give thanks to the Righeimer City Council for implementing the Westside Plans that so many of us worked on years ago.
What we put on paper remained on paper until the advent of the Righeimer City Council. They are the ones who have made things happen. Nice plans and thoughts are meaningless unless someone takes action, and it is the Righeimer City Council that has taken action.
But, of course, any time someone takes action there are always Monday morning quarterbacks who say "Tsk, tsk, I wouldn't have done it that way. Tsk, tsk, tsk." As you probably know, most of these Monday morning quarterbacks are not doers--not even in their own lives. They are the nobodies and do-nothings of this world. They are the ones who are always fearful of taking action lest they be criticized by the herd. They are weak, spineless and feeble empty husks. Most of them lack any sort of life force, generative power or creativity and simply watch the world go by as their empty lives run out of fuel, and then they die and it is as though they never existed at all.
Most of these sad sacks would be spending their time hanging out at the local bus station and writing their silly drivel on the restroom walls if the Internet had not been invented. Now, they get to spout their ignorant nonsense and get attaboys from their fellow creeps which makes them feel important. They are not important. They are nothing. And, the ones who are deadenders are even less than nothing. They are extinction walking. Their highest purpose is to be fertilizer for the Earth and for living organisms, and nothing more.

RAMZPAUL ON FERGUSON
Video (2:20 min.)
RAMZPAUL agrees with many Blacks in wanting Blacks to not have to put up with Whites.
Blacks should have their own separate country just for Blacks. Just like what Israel is doing in making Israel just for Jews.

Genocide one by one of Whites.

FERGUSON WILL SPEED UP THE RACIALIZATION OF AMERICAN POLITICS
Kevin MacDonald column appearing in The Occidental Observer.
Good. Whites must wake up to the reality of nature and understand that in order for them to live in a just, a free, and a peaceful society where they can pursue happiness as they define it and live their lives as they alone choose and have true self-determination, they must coalesce around their particular genetic interests and not continue with the delusional belief that they alone of all peoples have no such interests.

NICE WIKIPEDIA ARTICLE ON MY MARINE CORPS MARTIAL ARTS PROGRAM
I was glad to hear that the Corps is being cut back in numbers closer to its size when I was in uniform. To get the best quality Marines, you have to stay at the right size. Not everyone can be a Marine.
Semper Fi!

I agree that Costa Mesa has turned around. job center-gone, shootings pretty much gone, graffiti pretty much gone. dems on council, just two. medians look like those in Newport now. much better landscaping. great new developments, stores, restaurants. lower than avg. unemployment, higher than avg. income, strong real estate prices and demand, near record city revenues in taxes from property, sales, and transient occupancy. only thing wrong right now is a group of about 7 haters occupying council meetings who then complain that people that want to do actual business there are violating their speaking rights by making the haters share council time with them. hysteria rules with them over everything. there is no crisis here, things are great. we have rid ourselves of grumpy employees and cops and are replacing them with people who actually feel thrilled to land such lucrative jobs. probably one of the most transparent governments in the State also. you can find out anything you want and most of it online. if we can just get over some dirt that was put on dirt in a dirt lot and quit calling for a forensic audit week after week after week then maybe others can speak about things that have traction with any or all councilmembers. no councilmember wants a forensic audit, that idea hopefully is circling the drain.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely! Great comment.
ReplyDeleteof course west already blames righeimer. if someone did a false dui on you, put a gps on another councilmember, and sent in a sexy woman to tempt another councilmember at his bar to try to get him in a compromising position, what would you do? smile and let it go? no way. this was an attempt to influence elections and police pay in costa mesa. the main problem I see with the lawsuit is not proving it happened. it did. the problem is proving the pd here ordered those EXACT tactics. you see, the firm they hired to do dirty tricks had a much longer list of dirty tactics. our pd probably just paid them and said get er done, you choose the tactics. so our pd can perhaps honestly say they didn't approve of those exact tactics. but they sure as heck saw the list on the website of the firm they hired and knew a couple would be used. this is unacceptable no matter what your political persuasion. it is scary actually.
ReplyDeletethe crap stirrer blames it on the Mayor. everything wrong is the mayor's fault. anything good, nothing to do with mayor. how one sided can you get? btw, didn't the chief COME here with Righeimer on the council. yes, so let's give him the praise for bringing in such a good chief and getting rid of Stavely, the all time meltdown champion.
