CM PRESS # 167

REPRESSIVE AND FREEDOM HATING GERMAN GOVERNMENT DROPS ATTEMPT TO BAN FAR RIGHT PARTY

Say, maybe the Democrats can ban the Republican party in the U.S.  Actually, they don't need to do that, the Republicans are pretty much taking themselves out of the winning column with their goofy pandering and false belief that non-Whites are just waiting to flock to the party if the GOP just keeps pandering to them while disrespecting Whites.

BLACK WOMAN CHARGED IN HATE CRIME HOAX

These hate crime hoaxes by Blacks who claim to have been victimized by Whites happen all the time.

Unfortunately, weak seed, self hating Whites often think they're real.  And, even when they're proven to be false we've heard weak seed, self hating Whites praising the Black hoaxers for showing us that White hatred can exist.

Steve Mensinger

ROLE REVERSAL AT CITY COUNCIL MEETING LAST NIGHT
Gary Monahan
Jim Righeimer

The three supposed fiscal conservatives, Jim Righeimer, Steve Mensinger and Gary Monahan constantly talk about the financial problems of the city.  So, what did they do last night?  They voted to waste $85,000 to come up with new designs for Costa Mesa City Hall's lobby and the lobby of the police station.

Both lobbies are fine just the way they are.

And, that money isn't to actually do the work of changing the lobbies--it's just to come up with the ideas of how to change the lobbies.

Wendy Leece and Sandy Genis voted against this fluff project that wastes our tax money.  Yes, it is our money that is going into this silly and unneeded crap.

Look, folks, we've seen this type of thing happen before.  As soon as a little money starts flowing into the city, staff comes up with all kinds of busy work fluff projects to justify their jobs and they put this crap in front of Councilmembers who have become too chummy with staff and who are thus compromised into rubber stamping the fluff projects to get along with their new best friends, the staff.  So, screw the citizens of the city. Screw using the money for meaningful and needed things.

How does changing the decor of the lobbies help you in your neighborhood?  How does it improve the city?
How does it drive down crime?  How does it help improve the schools?  Folks, upwardly mobile people don't move to a city because the friggin' lobbies of City Hall and the police station have new decor.  This really is the type of thing one expects from cities such as Bell.

We had hoped Righeimer, Mensinger and Monahan would be more immune to this sort of thing, but if this vote last night is any clue, these three need to be watched more closely.

Righeimer tried to justify his vote with one of the weakest things we've ever heard this guy say, when he mumbled that he'd vote to spend this $ 85,000 for the ideas on changing the lobbies, but that this doesn't mean he'll go along with spending [the millions] that may be required to do the actual work when the ideas come back.  Okay, so just throw the taxpayers' $ 85,000 down a black hole instead of setting this money aside--you know, save it--to use to buy up some of the slum buildings and put in pocket parks.

  1. Haha, so you have finally figured out that Righeimer, Mensinger and Monahan are not the fiscal conservatives you thought they were. Those three spend money like drunken sailors. You drank the koolaid. I hope you enjoyed it.

  2. Everyone is allowed a few bad decisions. And, we'll continue to weigh the good they do against the bad. One of the reasons the CM PRESS tries to avoid being too close to any politicians is because we want to be free to criticize them when we feel they deserve it. We still think these three guys are on the right track, and this bad decision last night was an anomaly. But, we'll keep watching and we'll keep giving our opinions.

  3. An anomaly says the cherry picker.
CIty officials still do nothing to show they care for the westside. Okay, they took a walk through the nicer parts of the westside avoiding the bad streets as much as possible and had a fluff piece written about it. Money still always pours to the east/mesa verde to fix up what is already the nicer portions. Lots of streets on the westside could use sprucing up, yet the monies to fix up neighborhood roads/plantings keeps flowing to the eastside. Okay, so they found some for a street flooding problem. That problem wouldnt still have been there today if it were located in mesa verde. Meanwhile i drive on potholes to get to my home on the westside and my streets is one of the nicer ones!

  4. To Anonymous 11:36:00--I wish Westsiders would show up at City Council meetings and say the things you just wrote.

I'm usually the only one asking for things for the Westside and I don't even live there.
