BLACK MAN SHOOTS A WHITE MAN THIS MORNING IN COSTA MESA
UPDATE 2: 12:57 p.m.--HERE'S the report from the OC REGISTER. Also no mention of the fact that the shooter is Black and his victim White.
UPDATE 1: 12:30 p.m.--HERE'S the report on the shooting from the Daily Pilot. And, as we suspected, the Pilot has removed all references to race in the story.
Info from CMPD: At approximately 2 a.m. this morning, a Black man shot a White man near Victoria and Miner in an apparent robbery attempt. The Black man was subsequently arrested and is in jail. The White man was taken to a hospital where he is expected to survive.
When this crime appears in the papers, let's see if the race of the suspect and the victim are given or whether that information has been scrubbed. And, if they are given, let's see if we find some "white as can be" Whites mewling and asking "What does race have to do with it?"
Get your consciousness raised, folks, and don't become a crime victim because the press tries to make it seem that violent crime is an equal opportunity employer. It isn't, not by a long shot. Know the odds and protect yourself. Graveyards are getting too full of unaware Whites who are killed by non-Whites.

LA TIMES ARTICLE: CALIFORNIA GOP TOO WHITE AND TOO UPTIGHT
The advice from the experts is that the GOP must think more like the rest of California.
That one sentence above shows the major problem with our two party system.
To get votes, both parties must appeal to the same masses clustered under the center of the Bell Curve. This means we really have only one party and one choice when we vote.
Saying the party is too White would be called hate speech if it were called too Black or too Hispanic, but because Whites are so brow beaten, you will hear few complaints. In fact, you'll hear the "white as can be whites" (lower case intentional for these scumbags) cooing that they agree. "Why, yes, let's get rid of the White people."
We will agree, however, that the GOP may be too uptight; but it's not because of positions on immigration, which is apparently one of the reasons why the party is seen as uptight according to the above linked article.
No, the uptightness among many Republicans comes from an inner fear of being oneself--an alienation from their essential and natural beings. Many Republicans really are bloodless nerdy types with very little of the life force within them. They're just plain uptight latter day Victorians.
Of course, it's not all Republicans who are uptight, but there are enough of them to give the party that image.
And, many Republicans lack authenticity.
You'll hear various Republican know-nothings pointing to Ronald Reagan to "prove" that Republicans and especially conservative Republicans can win elections. However, what these know-nothings don't seem to understand about Reagan is the fact that he was authentic, genuine and full of life. He laughed a lot. He enjoyed life. He didn't look as though he had just sucked on a lemon and was wearing shoes that were too tight or had underwear made of burlap. He chopped wood and did the ordinary things and didn't put on airs. He presented a happy image of a conservative Republican.
Democrat Bill Clinton had/has the same love of life and authenticity that Reagan had. It just shines through when one has it.
Of course, Clinton and Reagan's political ideas were often miles apart, but the point I'm making is that the Republicans, if they want to win elections, need to bubble up some candidates full of life and joy, but who also have the right world views.
The GOP doesn't have to pander on race/ethnicity as the unauthentic experts are saying. It just has to be naturally for the things that all regular citizens want and it has to be one with the people, and not act like it is the party of life-hating and overly strict newly minted traffic cops or hell fire and damnation Puritans.
As I've written before, many of my views on GOP conservatives originated from when I lived in Washington, D.C. and was dating a girl who got a job as the secretary at the national office of Young Americans for Freedom. At that time, many in the group were trying to seem more in tune with what was going on in the country during that period, so they found a guy who looked like a Hippie and he became their man in the window, who they would point at to show just how with it they were.
Today, some "experts" in the the present GOP think a different type of man is needed in the window to give cover to those just out of view, so they keep auditioning non-Whites to be their man in the window. It was very transparently artificial back then, and it still is today.
And, the GOP isn't coming up with many good non-Whites in the window. For a time, they all thought Bobby Jindal could be that guy. He has dark skin, so there's some cover possible. However, when Jindal appeared on TV to give a Republican response to Obama, Jindal looked and sounded like a pencil necked geek who had just escaped from a sideshow after biting the head off a live chicken.
More recently, the GOP has been trying to put Marco Rubio in the window to fill the Latino role. Unfortunately, when Rubio gave his audition on national TV recently, he looked as shifty as Dick Nixon and suffered from dry mouth disease.
So, if any of you folks of color are looking for a gig, maybe you can audition to be the GOP's man in the window. Just talk about smaller government and conservative principles. Be sure to praise Rush Limbaugh and Ronald Reagan and knock Obama. If you're Black, but act White, you'll be loved by some of the Tea Party types if you really go after Obama. They love that kind of cover. "See, we're not racist."
Actually, and to be more precise, the GOP is looking for several different men in the window to cover different races/ethnicities. They need a Black, a Hispanic and an Asian. They also need women of color and homosexuals and transgenders, so it's an open casting call (except for Whites).
