THE INVASION OF THE CARROTWOODS

HERE'S an article in the Daily Pilot about some of the swell folks planting Carrotwood trees all around Costa Mesa.

HERE'S what Florida thinks of Carrotwood trees.

Here's an excerpt from the above Florida report on Carrotwoods:

Carrotwood has been listed by the Florida Exotic Pest Plant Council as one of Florida's most invasive plant species since 1995 and was added to the Florida Noxious Weed List (5b-57.007 FAC) by the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services in 1999. Plants on the Florida Noxious Weed List may not be introduced, possessed, moved, or released without a permit.

ASIAN WOMAN FOUND DEAD IN NEWPORT BEACH IS IDENTIFIED AS 'WHITE' IN  EARLIER BOOKING RECORD

Read the comments after the above linked article in the OC REGISTER and you'll come to a link to an earlier booking record that has her photo, and which lists her race as "white," even though she is clearly Asian.

This is something that those of us who are interested in White civil rights see often, i.e. non-Whites, who are clearly not White, are often listed as white in police reports.  What this does is skew the statistics to show that more Whites are involved in crimes than is actually the case.

CONNECTICUT: MAN GOES BERSERK WITH AX IN DONUT SHOP

Man is identified as Wilfred Levine, but there is no photo of him in the above story.  Given his name, you probably have a vague idea of what he looks like, right?

Well, HERE'S his photo.  Were you right? Probably not.

Now, why couldn't the national press have shown his photo?  You know why.  It's all about creating a false impression of the nature of violent crime and violent criminals and keeping the reality of violent crime localized so you don't make the all too obvious connections and see patterns.

But, seeing patterns will keep you safer.  So, do look for them.

ANOTHER REASON WHY THE U.S. LOOKS FOOLISH TO MOST OF THE REST OF THE WORLD

North Korea has nukes and tests them.  It also has ICBMs.  It has threatened to nuke the U.S.  But we hear very little war mongering from Washington over this.

Iran has no nukes. It says it doesn't want nukes. It doesn't have ICBMs.  It is no threat to America.  Yet, we hear constant war mongering from Washington.

Why the difference in the way Washington is acting towards North Korea and Iran?
