NEXT DUI CHECKPOINT SCHEDULED FOR JUNE 2.

The Costa Mesa Police Department will be conducting a sobriety / driver license checkpoint on Tuesday evening, June 2, 2009, from 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. The checkpoint will be located eastbound Baker Street, east of Bear Street.

During the early hours of this checkpoint, which will be west of Bristol, the CM PRESS expects that many cars pulled over will be driven by Huntington Beach bound drivers on their way home from work. Baker has turned into a min-freeway alternative to the 405 during rush hours.
