We started taking a look at the Facebook page COSTA MESA PUBLIC SQUARE yesterday, and we're impressed at how well the moderators are doing in keeping out the haters, crazies and one really disgusting attention seeking nobody, and how well they're doing in keeping the page on a positive track for the great city of Costa Mesa.
To read and post comments over there you'll have to ask to join, and it looks as though if you're not one of the known haters, crazies or perpetual malcontents, who constantly call our elected and appointed officials foul names, the mods will probably let you in to read and post.
Aren't you getting tired of hearing the Mayor called "The Rookie," or the Mayor Pro Tem being likened to dictators? And, aren't you getting tired of the same people who post and re-post such crap, wasting everyone's time by singing songs at the podium at city council meetings, swearing at the Mayor and Mayor Pro Tem, and in other ways disrupting the meetings? It looks as though some of these people haven't been allowed to spew their filth on the Costa Mesa Public Square Facebook page...at least, not yet...and hopefully the door will stay shut to them. Let them fade away into the oblivion they so much deserve.

I joined the public square recently and it seems to be a pretty good page. I quit one called sandbox because it is like west's blog. I love cm fb page is sketchy, seems to be a "nice" cover for haters who realize the gig is up, the city is doing well, the new mayor is in large and in charge and a good guy to boot. we can stop their occupy city hall movement by going there also. it seems we have deeded over the proceedings to the haters. let's take it back.
