CM PRESS # 704

NOTE TO COMMENTERS--Our software won't let us edit out parts of comments that might be better to not run for various reasons.  Public figures, including politicians, and those in the news, or those who have injected themselves into the public arena or controversies are generally fair game, but those citizens who are not public figures, not in the news, or who have not injected themselves...should be left out of comments.  Thanks.

DOES COSTA MESA HAVE A MISANDRIST PROBLEM?

Observers of city council meetings and those who read comments from haters in the newspapers have noticed that most of those who are attacking the good councilmembers are women (or men who are, ah, sensitive and emotional) and that there have been many hate comments where women have actually emphasized they don't like the "MEN on the council," expressed in exactly that way with MEN all in caps.

Now, this hatred of men--misandry--can manifest itself in many ways.  I just showed you one of the more overt ways we see it in Costa Mesa, but there are  more subtle expressions of this hate that show themselves as what are really complaints about men acting like men.  So, we often see some of the haters complain that the mayor "doesn't listen to them," or is "rude."

I've either been at all city council meetings or have watched them on TV, and I've never seen the mayor "not listening."  How can he help but listen, the speakers at the podium have loud microphones and he's right in front of them?  But, let's not be coy. What they mean is that he doesn't do what they want him to do, even though some of their ideas are must plain stupid and will harm the city or turn back the clock on improvement.

And, as far as being "rude," I've never seen the mayor be rude to anyone at city council meetings.

The mayor acts like a man.  He's direct.  He's professional.  He's adult. He doesn't screw up his face in emotional empathy with speakers the way Wendy Leece does all the time and he doesn't give them goo goo talk and tears, but answers things in a straight forward manner when he speaks. Now, to neurotics, who are misandrists, this may appear to be rude, but to men, it is the way men are.  Most men don't want to sit around and talk about their feelings, and when they have elected duties to do, such as running an efficient meeting, most would prefer that things be professional, efficient and tight and not sob fests with the sob sisters.

Jim Righeimer is the mayor.  He is not your therapist or your mommy or your BFF whose shoulder you can cry on.  HE'S THE MAYOR, DAMN IT!

WHY WAS WEITZBERG DUMPED?  WAS IT HIS NAME?  SOMETHING ELSE?

Take a look at some of the comments following this article [HERE].

Some of the comments are the usual nothings from the knee jerk haters, but a few seem to be from serious people and imply that they believe the polling done by the women's group CM4RG may have shown that Weitzberg polled very well, yet the ladies at CM4RG still dumped Weitzberg for the two dinosaur retreads Foley and Humphrey.  If so, why?

Not Robin. Not her bathrobe, either.
One commenter even suggested that reason seems to indicate that Weitzberg, who has been active over the past couple of years and has high name recognition might reasonably have been expected to out poll Humphrey who is a dinosaur and hasn't been a common political name for many years.

And, it seems that Barbara Venezia is still trying to get the actual results of the poll and the actual questions in the poll from bathrobe wearing Robin Leffler, but Leffler seems to be fast stepping away and is not being forthcoming. Are the ladies at CM4RG trying to hide something?  If so, why? Could it be that Weitzberg out polled Humphrey?

We even saw a comment from In God We Trust and liberal Wendy Leece saying that the polling was just one part of the selection process. Was this an inadvertent admission that Weitzberg, did in fact, poll very well--maybe better than Humphrey?  And, if he polled very well, why was he dropped by the ladies?

C'mon Robin, release the full poll results and the actual questions asked as Barbara Venezia has requested.  We see you.

MORE THAN 70% OF COSTA MESA CITY WORKERS CHOOSE NOT TO LIVE IN COSTA MESA

It is just human nature to care more for where you live than where you work and that's what we are seeing in Costa Mesa.

Millions and millions of our tax dollars are being sent to other cities via all these employees who are  paid so well they can live in Newport Beach and other upscale cities.

Do not elect Democrat liberals to the city council.  They are supported by out of town employees who expect more of your money in return for their support of the Democrat liberals.
