BREAKING NEWS:  LAW FIRM BEING SUED BY MAYOR RIGHEIMER MAY BE CLOSING

According to The Daily Journal, as linked to by the CM TAXPAYERS ASSOCIATION [HERE], Lackie Dammeier McGill & Either APC has lost a number of its attorneys this past week and has sent out a memo saying the firm  will be "winding down and eventually close."

Be sure to read the stupid comments at the above link and elsewhere from some really dumb Righeimer haters concerning the lawsuit filed by the mayor.

It's clear that many of these commenters  don't understand the seriousness of this. This is obvious from their comments that misstate the causes of action or the elements of those causes of action or the legal terms used, and other details.

We don't have any inside info and we only know what is in the newspapers, and what we've heard on the radio, but once the depositions start (and maybe they have already?) we wouldn't be surprised to see the mayor's lawyers amend the complaint to add several more defendants by name and add a few more causes of action.

We're just guessing, but we have a feeling that this lawsuit may have long threads that will be followed and which may lead in some interesting and unexpected directions as the facts come out.

We may even see other politicians from other cities join with Mayor Righeimer in this lawsuit.

This lawsuit is not a minor thing.

And, remember, the DA is still investigating for possible criminal violations.

DAILY PILOT COLUMN ABOUT COSTA MESA HAVING A $7 MILLION SURPLUS IN THE GENERAL FUND THIS YEAR

Meanwhile, the lefty creeps with their Marxist dreams of a union paradise, in which the unions get to run the city, are still whining because of the supposed turmoil (that they have created) in the city.

Folks, here's what the good council members are doing:  They've stepped up and have helped put Costa Mesa back on the right course to keep us from crashing against the rocks.  This upsets the lefties.

Look, the CM PRESS has been going to City Council meetings for years, and we've never seen a Council that is doing as much as the three good Council members are now doing to improve our city.

As far as the other two on the Council, Leece is a complete waste of time.  She's all about touchy-feely cliches and doing nothing but standing in the way of fixing this city.

Genis is different than Leece and she usually comes down against over developing Costa Mesa (a good thing), and she seems to have a streak of libertarian "smaller less obtrusive government" running in her veins (this is also a good thing).

Genis is usually logical and arrives at decisions based on reason, not emotion.   But, Genis also seems a little conflicted and it may be because of the direct way the good Council members handle matters, which is a more masculine way of doing things.

If the good Council members see a nail that has to be pounded in, they simply pick up a hammer and pound it in. That's a typical masculine approach: Find the shortest, fastest, most efficient way to solve a problem and just do it.

A woman might want to discuss pounding in the nail with her friends for a couple of hours before pounding it in. That's a typical feminine approach.

So, when women see typical males doing things without a lot of soft touchy-feely conversation first, they read this as arrogance or brutishness, and this leads us to the fact that many of the lefties in Costa Mesa are women.

This is that Mars/Venus stuff.

So, a man will typically go right to the source of the problem and simply fix it.


A woman might then say something like:  "It's not what you did, but the way you did it that bothers me."  This leaves the man befuddled. That's because he's mostly into results and not process. He might think, "Huh? The problem was the nail sticking out and I fixed it, so why is she complaining?"


Yup, the anti-good Council members crowd is mostly a women's movement with some geldings being led along by their noses.

Watch now as some of the male lefties get ordered by their female handlers to stand in the window in wife beater shirts with a can of beer in one hand and a football in the other, while scowling at passing cars.
