CM PRESS # 851

LIVE ELECTION RESULTS FROM NORTH CAROLINA ON CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT TO BAN GAY MARRIAGES

When we checked the totals at 6:00 our time, the vote for the amendment to ban gay marriages was leading by about 227,000 votes.

Liberal groups who support Obama are supporting the right to have gay marriages, while conservatives, and most notably the religious right, are supporting the amendment to ban gay marriages.  The power of the religious right on this issue is evident, and this may signal problems for Obama in the general election if they stay motivated.

O'REILLY GETS INVOLVED IN REPORTING ON THE VIRGINIA BLACK ATTACK ON TWO WHITE REPORTERS

Video

Most in the press are still trying to cover up the high number of race hate attacks on Whites by Blacks, but maybe many Whites are starting to wake up to the reality of this.

We could easily fill every CM PRESS with nothing but reports of attacks on Whites by Blacks and we could have started doing that from the first time we published back in 1999.  What would the result be?

We'd get comments from the usual low I.Q. types saying that we shouldn't report the truth.

By the way, we'd have a hard time filling even one edition of the CM PRESS with reports of attacks on Blacks by Whites, but if you read the main stream press, you'd think Whites were attacking Blacks all the time.

For your own safety, be aware of reality. And, be sure to profile.  You have your senses for a reason.  Trust them.

CANADA: THE KTUNAXA--ANOTHER INDIAN TRIBE TRIES TO COME BACK FROM THE BRINK OF EXTINCTION

The most important part of the above linked video is from 9:59 to 10:20.  It is there that it is clearly stated that the purpose of the government schools was to "take the Indian out of the Indian."

Hey, wait a minute, isn't it racist for Indians to want to remain Indian? Shouldn't all peoples just blend together and give up their own identities?

Aren't we being told that blending away our "imagined" differences is what we should do because there is only one race, the human race?   Of course, this is a lie, and those who want to blend all races, all religions and all nations together are genocidists much like those so-called well meaning people who tried to take the Indian out of the Indian.

A FREEWAY RUNS THROUGH IT

At today's City Council study session, there will be an update to the plans to widen the 405 Freeway.

The first two alternatives do not impact Costa Mesa, so there's no reason for immediate concern.

Alternative 3 [HERE], however, can have a serious impact on Costa Mesa and especially to homeowners who live on or near the following Costa Mesa streets: Nevada Ave., Maryland Circle, New Hampshire Dr., Iowa St., Charleston St., Concord St.

Other streets may also be affected.

HERE'S a map of the area.

Alternative 3 calls for the widening of the 405 all along Costa Mesa down to the 73 Fwy.

All the streets closest to the 405 are in danger from Alternative 3.

Speak up, or you may have a freeway running through your home.

FINALLY...WE HEAR FROM THE CEO

Late yesterday, after reporting another nuisance vending truck and the specific violations of our laws, we finally heard from the CEO who said, in effect, that the City would look into the violations.

Now, our point about this is that we don't necessarily want to see these vending truck operators get heavy fines or citations, but we do want the City to give them warnings that they are violating our laws and disturbing neighborhoods with their activities.

THEN, we want the City to revise our municipal codes to include better language as used by some other cities--Palm Desert, for example (and as suggested by a politician to us)--that may solve the problem once and for all.

As we've written many times before, Assemblyman Mansoor got involved in politics because he couldn't get any action from the City concerning vending trucks and human powered vending carts that were disturbing his then Westside neighborhood.

That's the way it often is in politics. An ordinary citizen, with what may seem like a small issue, gets blown off by the authorities and thus has  his or her consciousness raised to a general lack of attention by the authorities to quality of life issues, and then he or she decides to run for office and soon moves ever higher.

We'll keep you informed of progress on this issue.
