TWO BLACK TEENS SET WHITE TEEN ON FIRE--COPS INVESTIGATING IF IT'S A HATE CRIME

Count on the police to not  find a hate crime in this.  That's standard operating procedure when the victim is White and the perps Black. 

Reverse the races and if the White kid had so much as frowned at the Blacks, he'd be charged with a hate crime.

Will any Whites speak up and demand hate crime charges be filed?  Of course not, Whites are as beaten down as the American Indians once were or as Blacks were before Rosa Parks refused to give up her bus seat.  It's time that changed, and it begins with every White refusing to let this crap continue.

WASTE IS A TERRIBLE THING TO MIND

So, the clubby clique over at the Costa Mesa Sanitary District has voted to try to oust Jim Fitzpatrick.  The case the clique wants to make is that Fitzpatrick has a potential conflict of interest since he also serves on the City's Planning Commission.

We fail to see any real dilemma in this for Fitzpatrick.  Our suggestion is that he simply resign from the Planning Commission. Poof, there goes the potential conflict.

Why not the other way around, i.e. resign from the Sanitary District and keep his seat on the Planning Commission?

Several reasons. First, he makes more money at the Sanitary District.  Second, the Sanitary District needs someone on the inside asking tough questions and trying to get the best deals for citizens.  Third, he can still stay active in other city matters without being on the Planning Commission (the CM PRESS stays active and is often effective with no commission seat to our name). Fourth, it gives the good City Council members the chance to bring in another strong activist to the Planning Commission, while still having Fitzpatrick as one of their friendlies (expand always, contract never).
