Once Upon A Time It Was Easy For Manipulators of Public Opinion To Demonize All of "Them."Today, in multiculti America, their job is a lot harder.
Those who hate Muslims want to keep the U.S. on the attack in various Muslim nations, but as more and more Muslims move to America, it becomes difficult to whip up public support against "them."
When Them are Us, it becomes necessary to make fine line distinctions between good Muslims and bad Muslims. This is a very difficult PR task when you're trying to convince the masses who, given the nature of the masses (and this applies to any masses of humans anywhere), require simple distinctions.
Because of this, the manipulators and war mongers are having a hard time creating a critical mass of public support for wars that many Americans see as meaningless and a waste of lives.
