Here's part of what the Pilot wrote: "The Vietnamese community traditionally votes Republican, but having a respected member of their community in the race means many of them are likely to vote Democratic this time around. "
So, isn't the Pilot really saying that the paper believes that many Vietnamese, who normally vote Republican, won't vote for Mansoor because, while he's a Republican, he has the wrong skin color?
What do you think? If people vote for "one of their own" based on race/ethnicity, is that racist?
You know it's called racism when Whites vote for someone because he or she is White. Why isn't it called that when other races/ethnicities do it? Hmmmmmm?
