The Costa Mesa Police Department and the California Highway Patrol conducted a joint DUI/Drivers License checkpoint on Friday, August 30, 2013, along northbound Newport Blvd at 19^th Street between the hours of 8:00 p.m. and 2:00 a.m.

2 DUI-Alcohol suspects arrested

7 Drivers cited/arrested for operating a vehicle unlicensed

1 Drivers cited/arrested for operating a vehicle while suspended/revoked
