Of course, no description of the suspects was given, so this means the highest probability is that the suspects are Black and the second highest probability is that they are Latino.

The lowest probability of their race/ethnicity is White--otherwise this racial description would have been reported far and wide.

FORMER CMPD COP WRITES A LONG COMMENT IN THE DAILY PILOT 

For some reason, Allen Huggins, who is a retired CMPD cop, who apparently now lives in far away Idaho, felt it necessary to give his two cents worth of opinion on the biased Daily Pilot article on CMPD hiring.

There's not much substance in Huggins' comments.

If you read them, you'll see paragraph after paragraph of surplusage that says very little.  Naturally, some of the lefty dimwits will see all the words and think there must be something important there, when the opposite is the case. "Where's the beef," comes to mind.

It appears to us that Huggins' major complaint  revolves around rhetoric (a word that Huggins uses often), from the good Councilmembers, including the use of the term "union thugs," and this, according to Huggins, demonstrates divisive leadership and scares good applicants away from applying to the CMPD.

Actually, and this is right in the Daily Pilot article that Huggins is commenting on, there are plenty of applicants--in the many hundreds, in fact. Thankfully, however, the CMPD has set the bar high and is looking for good officers.  This may not always have been the case is the past.  We are reminded of the CMPD cop  who was stalking a woman by using a CMPD tracking device, and other incidents.

But, what about the good Councilmembers using the term "union thugs"?  What would Huggins call people who send in private detectives to follow Councilmembers?  And, what would he call someone who claims a Councilmember is driving under the influence, when he wasn't?  And, what would he call cops who run to the newspaper (anonymously) to make it seem that a politician was a raving wild man after the politician simply and very politely questioned the placement of a DUI checkpoint where it was backing traffic up on to a freeway off ramp? And, what would he call union members who drag a big anti-Righeimer sign around the city, in order to try to stop the election of someone who partly campaigned on fiscal sense in this city, so one of the usual puppet politicians (who roll over and give away the farm), could be elected instead?

If there is divisiveness in Costa Mesa's governance, it is being fanned by a small clique of lefties who would find fault with the good Councilmembers even saying "Good morning."  In other words, it's politics and nothing more.

And, in this regard, you'll note that many of the usual lefties have now started a Democrat Club.  Yes, many of these people are the same ones who whine and complain about the good Councilmembers all the time. They are not just unbiased, apolitical concerned citizens. They want a big spending lefty Democrat City Council. Even the ones who claim to be Republicans who are in this clique are really Republicans in Name Only and are usually kooky lefties who really support Democrats and Democrat ideas of big, all intrusive government and higher taxes and fees.

And, these are the same lefties who want taxes and fees raised in Costa Mesa.  Is that what most Costa Mesan's want?  We don't think so.
