In CM PRESS # 318, we pointed out that this character West started his silly screed with "This is a crock!" But what we didn't mention, and we will now, is that he then writes "Return to reason"? Really?" No, not really. The mayor didn't write anything about a return to reason,he just mentioned the word reason in a throw-away comment deep in his column. That was the name of a defunct group of lefties from the last election who have now come back under a different name. What the mayor wrote was pointing out as his mahjor point (it's in the headline and in the body of his column) that we need to return to "normal."
Now, we know this guy West has a hard time with words and definitions and we've had to set the record straight a number of times, but can someone please send this guy a dictionary?

With his latest announcement of no more anonymous comments, West justifies because of all the vitriol he has to read from anonymous posters. I had to laugh at that because Mr. West is more guilty than anyone when it comes to nasty, vitriolic posts. The best thing about this act is he has singlehandedly cleaned up Costa Mesa may have eliminated one of its greatest sources of filth.
