NEW YORK:  WALKING AND DRIVING WHILE WHITE

Mayor Bloomberg says cops are stopping too many Whites and too few non-Whites.

Yup.  White violent crime rates are as low as they've ever been--which is very low compared to Blacks--and Black violent crime rates are as high or higher than they've ever been. The difference now, is that Black violent crime isn't being kept in Black communities, but is flooding White communities.

By stopping and frisking the most likely potential perps, you can drive violent crime down.  But if you waste your manpower stopping and frisking people less likely to commit violent crimes, you enable more non-White violent criminals.

You have to play the percentages.

PALIN SUGGESTS SHE MAY LEAVE THE GOP

She's not alone.  We just returned one of those special letters that the GOP sent us (not the usual type, but a smaller more personal letter) asking for more money from us.  No, we didn't put any money in the envelope.  And, we didn't put a postage stamp on the envelope to save them that expense. We just sent it back with our strongly worded comments letting the out of touch suits know that the GOP no longer represents us and that if a viable third party shows up, we'll be looking at it with an eye to supporting it.

And, about third parties.  We had press credentials and covered Ross Perot's convention in Long Beach several years ago for a newspaper back east.  After the election, everything fell apart.  It was pretty much a one man band.  That's the way it is with most third parties. And, most die out when that one man band leaves.

We need a third party that builds from the ground up and runs candidates for every dog catcher election in the nation and builds on that base.  Yes, such a party must have some big names at the top of the party in order to get much needed press coverage, but these big names have to stick around to help build the party.

HOW ABOUT THE ENGINES AND TRANSMISSIONS?

HERE'S the spec sheet on the six ambulances that the City Council is expected to buy at its July 2, meeting.

The total cost (we think) of the six ambulances will be $ 1,334,314.70.

On the spec sheet, we're told about the mud flaps and the lug nuts, and so on, in great detail.

That's the important stuff, right?

We couldn't find any clearly specified information about those minor things such as the engines and transmissions in the spec sheet, but after doing an Internet search based on the chassis name and model number, we believe that the ambulances will each be built on an International truck chassis and will have one or another of two types of diesel engines (we think). We're not sure if the engines will be the same in all six ambulances (they should be, so you can canibalize parts if needed). We're also not sure about the transmissions, but we believe that  they'll be automatic.

Now, if you were the City Council, wouldn't you want information about engines and transmissions in front of you when you make a decision?  Mud flaps and lug nuts may look nice, but don't you think information about engines and transmissions might be more important?

Also, we have highly paid mechanics who work for the City.  Were any of them asked for their opinions?  Remember, once we buy these vehicles we have to fix them.

Here's our point in this.  The City Council members all have day jobs.  They probably don't have the time, and maybe not the desire, to try to coax out important facts when they're given things to vote on (such as, also, the big computer buy that we wrote about before).  Important things such as engines and transmissions should be clearly spelled out so they don't have to guess, and so they can make informed decisions.

Yes, that blubbering Deen just has to beg for forgiveness for once upon a time uttering a racial pejorative about a Black who had held a gun to her head. [ Here's our prediction: Watch as Deen soon donates lots of money to Black causes. And, watch as Deen holds cooking classes in inner city schools.  Also expect to see her on Oprah's show. Yup.  The PR people are out in force on this.]

BLACK WRITERS TRYING TO EXPLAIN TO WHITES WHY IT'S BAD FOR WHITES TO USE RACIAL EPITHETS BUT IT'S NOT BAD FOR BLACKS TO DO SO

[Hint: It's because of Black privilege or, er, Black nonprivilege or, ah, because of White racism or some such nonsense.]

Using the star witness in the George Zimmerman trial as an example to show cracker ass Whites that it's only because of their honky White privilege that they don't understand this witness and how cracker ass Whites should all blubber because they may have said or heard something that Blacks and lefty Whites don't like.
