WERE YOU FOOLED BY THIS AWARD TO THE COSTA MESA SANITARY DISTRICT?
Just about every industry has some sort of trade association that hands out awards to its members. Sometimes, these trade associations are little more than a person or two and a couple of desks in a small office.
Those receiving these awards then send off press releases to the local newspapers touting their awards. Many in the herd then believe something great has been accomplished.
Here's what the Sanitary District should do instead of just puffing such awards: Get competitive bids on trash hauling.

LINCOLN CLUB NOT WHAT IT ONCE WAS
Instead of standing up for what is right, the once Conservative, but now apparently Neo-Conservative Lincoln Club, wants the local GOP to be the party of what's happening now and has attacked Congressman Dana Rohrabacher because of his stand against giving criminals citizenship.
Hey Lincoln Club--amnesty will destroy the GOP, and possibly the whole First World nature of America.

Now, if Wendy would just get on the side of Costa Mesa citizens who want an improved city, and not a new Santa Ana, we might get some action.

ReplyDeleteThe CMSD may or may not be corrupt but their recent actions created enormous suspicion that they have something to hide. Why else would they refuse to get a bid on trash service after 60 years? At least they could have checked it out so we can relax another 60 years.
