Forward party of about 300 Marines from the 26th MEU has moved from the port to the border. Reports say the Marines won't take part in any action on behalf of the rebels in Syria.  Of course, if the Marines are attacked....

Red line about chemical weapons in Syria sounds like "weapons of mass destruction in Iraq," or so many other justifications for us to send our kids to die in causes that are not in our interests.

First we say we're just going to supply humanitarian aid.  Then, we find an excuse to supply arms.  Then, we send in troops.  Then, the body bags start coming home in the middle of the night to America and grieving parents get crocodile tears from fat cat politicians who pretend they care.
