MESA NORTH CRIME ALERT

The CM PRESS is getting reports of car break-ins in Mesa North.  The latest one was Friday night (last night). The preferred MO of the thieves is to see if any doors on cars are unlocked, and it not, and if they see anything of value inside, to break the windows.

If you see people in the neighborhood who you don't recognize and who seem to be casing the neighborhood or cars (walking slowly, looking at each home and car, etc.), call the CMPD at (714) 754-5252 and tell them about the suspicious person or persons.  You don't have to leave your name.  If you're mistaken, there's no problem.

Trust your gut.  A person out of place may be up to something.
