CITY COUNCIL TO HEAR REPORT FROM HOMELESS TASK FORCE TODAY

The real question is:  Why do so many homeless people come to Costa Mesa?

The real answer is: Because they get free food and other benefits here from the robust charity infrastructure that has grown in Costa Mesa.  This is also why there are so many illegal aliens in the city.

And, the City government and pillars of the community encourage the charity bosses by giving them awards and public recognition for their "compassion."

Look, this isn't complicated. The ways of nature apply to humans just as they do to all other organisms.

Feed a few pigeons and you'll soon have an ever growing flock of pigeons.  Stop feeding the pigeons and they'll move away.  It works that way with humans, also.  On a hierarchy of needs, getting fed is essential. Remove the food and all organisms will move on to where they can get food.

IS THE COSTA MESA SANITARY DISTRICT TRYING TO OUST JIM FITZPATRICK BECAUSE FITZPATRICK IS ASKING TOUGH QUESTIONS ON BEHALF OF THE CITIZENS OF COSTA MESA? 

HERE'S the Daily Pilot surface story of what's going on at the Sanitary District, which is about a potential conflict of interest since Fitzpatrick serves on both the Sanitary District board and the Planning Commission.

The trash hits the fan this morning at 9 a.m.

Of course, the easy out on this is for Fitzpatrick to resign from the Planning Commission and keep his seat on the Sanitary District.
