PROCESS VS. RESULTS
| Wendy showing emotion. |
Wendy Leece seems to be one of those people who prefer
process to results.
Such people would rather talk about problems than solve them. We've written about this before, but now Wendy on her own blog [HERE] actually, if inadvertently, admits that she cares more process than results.
Here's what Wendy writes: "I am not opposed to a charter, but I am opposed to this one because of the process, or lack of process, that the city council council has devised to pretend to take public input."
People who think like that are for appearance over substance, talk over action, process over results. They are simply not goal oriented.

| Billy Folsom |
The guy standing is Billy Folsom. He's a mechanic for the City.
The guy sitting is his pal Geoff West. He's a frequent critic of the Good Councilmembers.
Billy is a funny guy. At last night's City Council meeting, Billy, along with a bunch of other employees, got recognition from the City Council for years of service to the City.
When the employees lined up facing the audience for a photo, facing away from the Council on the dais, Billy opened up his outer shirt to reveal a T-shirt that read "READY, FIRE, AIM." Isn't that funny? Billy got some snickers from some in the audience over this.
Billy was the campaign manager for Bill Perkins when Perkins ran for the City Council several years ago, but even with Billy's great wit, Perkins didn't get elected.

Trying to get the best deal for citizens of that city; which is what a City Council should do.

19 WEST SIGN
According to City staff, the sign design will be presented to the City Council at their next meeting.
If approved, it should be constructed and installed not long after that. We're told that the design is attractive and does incorporate the type of artsy feeling that many of us want to see in the re-branding of the Westside.

Just for once, I would like you to state exactly what "good" the council majority has done for Costa Mesa. I am not trying to be confrontational, but want to actually see the list of accomplishments that the council majority has actually done. They take credit for things that others have accomplished like the street project in Mesa Verde. Also what is your take on all the high priced executives the city has hired recently? Do you believe they are actually needed? I eagerly await your reply.
