BULLETIN: THE U.S. SUPREME COURT WILL HEAR CASE ON ARIZONA'S IMMIGRATION LAW

If the court comes down in favor of Arizona and does it broadly enough, we'll see the return of the U.S. to its citizens and the end of the cheapening of our citizenship.

Could be a landmark case.

NICE AP ARTICLE ON THE SUPREME COURT POSSIBLY TAKING UP THE IMMIGRATION ISSUE

Obama administration says only the Feds can enforce immigration laws.

States say the Feds aren't doing the job so the states will do it in their own states.

Thus do we come to a major issue concerning federal power vs. states rights.

When one goes down several levels from the laws themselves to basic principles of how our society functions, one comes to an axiom that grows out of principles of personal responsibility and self-reliance that we think applies here:

You always have the right to delegate your authority to do things for you to others but you can never delegate your responsibility.

In the present context, we would say that the states have delegated some of their authority to the feds to enforce immigration laws so the people of the states will be protected from illegal immigration and its many negative effects. 

However, the feds are not using the authority that has been delegated to them, so the states must be responsible and ensure their citizens are protected.
