Fortunately, Costa Mesa has four good Councilmembers who started acting before we just had lint in our City's pockets as is the case in Santa Ana.

The out of town union people who have been smearing the good Councilmembers in Costa Mesa may soon be very busy in Santa Ana as that city makes some really deep cuts that will make Costa Mesa's right sizing look like little more than a day without pay for employees.

UPDATE ON THE BLUFF ROAD:  If conditions allow, the proposed Banning Ranch bluff road will be built into the side of the bluff below the top of the bluff and not along the top of the bluff. If it is built this way, no homes or businesses may have to be removed.  They'll just get the sounds and the fumes from the new road below the the top of the bluff.

Our take on this is that these three hoped that the public outcry would die down.  It hasn't. Hopefully, they'll be recalled and other politicians and police departments will learn a lesson from this

THE YELLOW BRICK ROAD IS OPEN

With Gary Monahan announcing his re-election bid, the Yellow Brick Road has opened early this election season.

As long time readers know, the Yellow Brick Road has opened in every election in Costa Mesa since 2000 and the results have always been that the liberal wicked witches have had houses drop on them from out of
nowhere.

Expect wizardry to happen behind the scenes again this year so that when the Emerald City is finally reached, liberals will be left scratching their heads once again and saying "How did they get elected?"

Remember, dear readers, there is mojo in Costa Mesa that does not exist in many other places, and those who want to win must be careful to not have tin ears and they must constantly read the CM PRESS and ignore other local blogs.
