You'd think police departments would weed the crazies out before they harm people. This guy probably showed odd behavior before this happened. If so, why wasn't he flagged for psychological testing?

WHO WILL BETTER REPRESENT COSTA MESA FAMILIES?
Remember when you were single and didn't have kids?
You had different concerns. You weren't worried about crime so much. The quality of the schools didn't cross your mind. Hey, you could
jump on your motorcycle and ride off into the breeze, just like that. You could have an alcoholic drink and jump in your car. Life was different for you then, wasn't it?
Then, when you grew up and started a family, the things you thought about and worried about changed.
Suddenly you wanted to have a nicer city for your kids. You wanted to know they were safe when they were on our streets. You wanted to know they were getting a good education. You became concerned about gangs in Costa Mesa (and, we have gangs in Costa Mesa). You became concerned about slums (yes, we have those also). You now cared about more than yourself.
Think about these things when you vote this year.

ReplyDeleteI'm ashamed to say that none of our cops are worth that kind of money. None of them!
We have a gun, that we are willing to shoot, so why do we even need overpaid cops??? Just exactly what is it they do? They refuse to pursue drug dealing; they refuse to help the mentally ill; they refuse to make out reports; they refuse to protect the elderly; etc. Try to find a cop when you need one. They hide out.
An illegal alien T-boned me at 65 MPH a while back. Guess what, it took the cop an hour to get to the scene. He claimed he was in a "meeting". To this day I wonder who he was meeting, and where.
