AIR AMERICA GOING OFF AIR
The CM PRESS crew tuned into loony lefty Air America several times.
It was really bad radio and just gave constant examples of how intellectually bankrupt the left is in this country.
Think of all the sophomoric lefty cliches and all the kumbaya talk you can think of, and that was Air America.

NOT HAPPY WITH THE COSTA MESA CITY COUNCIL'S RECENT ACTION NAMING ALL OF COSTA MESA AS A RECOVERY ZONE
We understand that a request has been made for the Council to review the action it took at its January 19th meeting.

The CM PRESS agrees that the Council should take another look at what it has done. We also think that the Council should determine exactly what Triangle Square and the Auto Dealers plan to do to improve things.
Are we just going to throw good money after bad?
We also don't like the negative image this Recovery Zone action will convey.
It's now up to the Council to decide whether or not it will revisit this issue.
Frankly, we think the larger issue is, and always has been, whether or not the Council will stop dithering and actually do some work to make Costa Mesa a great city.

This eternal repaving is the Costa Mesa City Council's version of fiddling while Rome burns and is the easy out for Council and staff to say they're improving Costa Mesa.
What the Council should be doing is thinning out the slums with that money instead of paving the streets in front of the slums.

That's 1,177 illegal aliens taken off the streets of Costa Mesa in three years, and this total doesn't include the illegal aliens who were transported to the Sheriff instead of going through the ICE agent in the CM jail.

If the Costa Mesa Silly Council would just stop giving our tax money to non-profits that launder the money and give it to illegal aliens in the form of goods and services and if the Silly Council would start thinning out the slums, as the more progressive Council is doing right now in Stanton, we'd have a lower crime rate, better schools, higher home values and a generally nicer city.
Funny, that's why Improvers helped elect Mansoor, Bever and Leece and why they also supported Monahan. So, why aren't these Councilmembers acting in meaningful ways to improve Costa Mesa? Hmmmm?
