The link is over on your right. It's a busy format, but with a few clicks you can find out what's going on crime wise in your neighborhood or other neighborhoods or the city as a whole and you can gauge trends by looking at a large chunk of time.
UPDATE: 3/7/15--2:47 pm--We just went to the CMPD Crime map and got an error message that said an email of the error had been generated and sent to staff. So? Buggy?

BLACKS ARE ARRESTED MORE THAN WHITES BECAUSE BLACKS COMMIT MORE CRIMES
Go to the bottom of the above linked column to see four towns/cities in California where Whites are arrested more than Blacks.
And, why do you suppose that's the case? It's because the four California towns/cities have large prisons in their city borders.
Here's how the statistics are manipulated to make it look as though the Blacks are law abiding and the Whites are not: Black prisoners (and Blacks are the overwhelming majority in each prison) are counted as though they are residents of the surrounding towns and cities.
Get it? The towns and cities where the prisons are located are mostly non-Black except for all the Blacks in the prisons, and the Blacks in the prisons don't get arrested so the Whites outside the prison walls are the only ones arrested and this skews the statistics.
