LET'S PUT FOLEY'S STUPID WHINE IN SLIGHTLY DIFFERENT TERMS
[Click above for her really dumb column in the DP and also see our column below for our earlier comments on what she scrawled on the page.]Imagine that Obama clone and liberal Democrat Foley isn't whining about criminals but is whining instead that her home has been broken into a couple of times by alligators and that this is because, in her stupid opinion, Mayor Righeimer has let citizens down and hasn't sped up the hiring of more alligator cops to keep them out of Obama clone and liberal Democrat Foley's home.
Now, folks, it is simply not possible to hire enough alligator cops to guard every home in the city every day and every night, and alligators will still invade homes because they want something there--something that they feel is valuable or important to them.They're not there because they're on vacation.
So, what's the answer to stop the alligators from invading Obama clone and liberal Democrat Foley's home and all other homes to boot?
The best way is to eliminate the habitats of the alligators. Drain the swamps where they live and they'll move away all on their own accord. In fact, you couldn't even pay the alligators to come back if there were no swamps.
Now, to reality. Obama clone and liberal Democrat Foley lives in the very insular neighborhood of Mesa del Mar. It is a big square of a neighborhood with no major streets going through it. You could live in Costa Mesa for fifty years and never even enter her neighborhood. There is simply no reason to, unless you live there.
The problem in Mesa del Mar is that close to its edge on Baker Street is one of the major slums in Costa Mesa--the Mission-Mendoza slum. It is that

Folks, the criminals aren't commuting in from Santa Ana to Mesa del Mar and Obama clone and liberal Democrat Foley's house, they live right in Foley's neighborhood in the Even if you put a hundred cops in Mesa del Mar every hour of the day and night, they wouldn't be able to "profile" people walking and bicycling around the neighborhood and stop them. We'd have the ACLU all over Costa Mesa if that were to occur, and you know it.

Liberal Democrat Katrina Foley whines that her home has been broken into twice and that her neighbors have also had their homes broken into, and she blames Mayor Righeimer for apparently ...what?...not having cops stationed in front of her home? That's the only way to stop crime in that neighborhood so long as the Mission-Mendoza slum remains there.
Folks, as we've written before, Foley lives in Mesa del Mar. In Mesa del Mar is one of the worst slums in Costa Mesa--the Mission Mendoza slum. It has seen murders and shootings and all sorts of crimes. It is a breeding ground and a safe haven for a criminal element. It is overcrowded, and full of gang members. It is a no-go area for upwardly mobile stable citizens.
And, as we just wrote yesterday, Foley and her fellow liberal Democrats not only are doing nothing to get rid of that slum, but they're actually helping keep the slum intact by doing kumbaya crap like having group hug sessions where they plant flowers in front of the slums, hug some suspected illegal aliens, smile for the cameras and then go home feeling that they are kind and compassionate human beings.
Folks, if Foley wants to have less crime in her neighborhood, she should be joining the CM PRESS in calling for the thinning out of the Mission-Mendoza slum.
A city is its people. Attract criminals and make them comfortable and you'll have crime. Attract upwardly mobile stable citizens and make them comfortable and you won't have as much crime.
It's just common sense. And, common sense is not Foley's strong suit.

Mayor Righeimer has done a remarkable job in helping bring in just the right kind of development in distressed areas of the city by implementing the spirit of the Westside Plans.
In those areas impacted by slums and down scale uses--the Westside in particular--the Westside Plans have been giving incentives to small lot developers to risk their money and time in putting in housing that will attract a higher demographic.
In time, the higher demographic will attract more quality retail tenants to these once no-go areas, and with even more time and if things continue on the right trajectory, we'll see the student scores in local schools start to rise as the children of the new upwardly mobile citizens filter in to the schools.

In our older R-1 neighborhoods we still have the small town feel--Mayberry, if you will--and Costa Mesa is becoming the place to be and not the place to flee.But, the work isn't done. Some of the Improvers are saying that they'll vote for Improvement by giving Mayor Righeimer another four years, and will also vote for Mayberry by casting a vote for Rita Louise Simpson.
HERE'S a link to a column in the Daily Pilot about Mrs. Simpson. Be sure to read some of the hate comments from the usual scumbags that follow the column. These clowns hate themselves, they hate America, they hate traditional Americans.
The haters hate mom and apple pie and they think Mayberry and small town America with its traditional values are corny. We say they can go screw themselves.
