I'm talking about the ones with rocks and the drought resistant plants. These are the types of medians that many of us have been hoping for. They suit our climate and they're really works of art. If they don't get some award, it'll surprise me.
You can thank the Righeimer Council for these medians and all the other great changes we're seeing in the city.
Folks, Costa Mesa used to be considered the ugly sister of Newport Beach. That's quickly changing--again, thanks to the Righeimer Council, which under the direction of the mayor, has started getting its priorities straight.

At Tuesday night's city council meeting some of the usual haters, uniform groupies, kooks and those lacking self-esteem were wearing anti-Righeimer T-shirts.
Councilmember Monahan commented on the shirts from the dais and pointed out that the T-shirts might violate rules of the Fair Political Practices Commission since they don't indicate who paid for them.
Well, according to the Costa Mesa Taxpayers Association, HERE, it was none other than the cop union that paid for the T-shirts. That's the same group of mostly out of town cops who famously pulled the Righeimer hate sign around town during the last election.
