Important issues about freedom involved. Utah is prosecuting these folks for something that they would not be prosecuted for if they simply said they were just living together.
In other words, the male in this case could live with a hundred women and all of them could have children with him, but the state would not prosecute them. However, if he claimed, even without marriage licenses, that the hundred women are his wives, the state will prosecute him. And, that's what the state is doing.

That's the way it is with evolution. Change just a few letters in the billions of letters of the DNA code and you change the organism.
It's a little like if you flinch at the trigger end of a rifle, the bullet may change course by many feet at the target end.
Did you know that humans share about 50% of our genetic code with bananas? It's true.
So, how did dogs come into existence? Some wolves apparently lived near humans and ate scraps from humans. Some of the wolves--maybe just one or two--had genetic mutations that made the scraps more digestible and useful to them, and they prospered. Because they prospered, they probably lived longer to produce more offspring and the genetic mutation spread. This is natural selection at work.
It is the same with human evolution. A few early humans who had traveled to the northern parts of Europe had a tiny gene mutation that gave them whiter skin than others. The whiter skin let their bodies produce more Vitamin D and this kept them from getting rickets. As a result, they lived longer and produced more children than the darker humans and eventually the white skin mutation spread and became the dominant phenotype in Europe.

The only problem with these three commercials is that all the bad guys are White. That's not the way it is in reality, folks.
But, will the White Congressional Caucus complain that the commercials are racist because the bad guys are all White? Of course not, that's because there is no White Congressional Caucus. Why, that would be racist.
Of course there is a Black Congressional Caucus and a Hispanic Congressional Caucus. But, of course, these aren't racist. Now, why is that the case?
