Long time readers will already know that the CM PRESS has links over on the right to Aljazeera and Russsian Times. We put them in our links years ago because we could get news from them that we didn't see from our domestic news sources.
If Univision keeps it up, we may soon link to them as well.

OC REGISTER ENDORSES COSTA MESA'S PROPOSED CHARTER (MEASURE V)
UPDATE: Be sure to read the comments from the lefty girls rapid response team after the above linked article and keep your barf bag handy.
It's not complicated folks. If you want more local control and less control from legislators in faraway Sacramento; many of whom probably couldn't locate Costa Mesa on a map,
then vote for Measure V.
Meanwhile, the Daily Pilot still hasn't run our column in favor of Measure V. Probably too persuasive and they're afraid voters will realize why the proposed charter makes sense.
And, the "girls" (we're trying to be sensitive, boo hoo, boo hoo) over at CMFROGS are still trying to confuse voters by picking the fly specks out of the pepper over the charter.

THE CMFROGS PREPARING TO GO TO ANOTHER CITY COUNCIL MEETING TOMORROW NIGHT
The Over the Hill Frog ladies (and most of the CMFROGS do seem to be a certain type of female) just can't wait to go to the podium to tell men that they shouldn't be like men.
No, men shouldn't actually do anything to improve Costa Mesa, they should sit around and talk about their personal problems all day and show how sensitive they are to the feelings of these women.
"Let's have a group hug, ladies. And, light those candles, and hand out the tissues, we're about to march for, er, sensitivity."

HERE'S the City Council agenda.
*Here's the Wikipedia definition of gelding:
A gelding is a castrated horse or other equine such as a donkey or a mule. Castration, and the elimination of hormonally driven behavior associated with a stallion, allows a male horse to be calmer and better-behaved, making the animal quieter, gentler and potentially more suitable as an everyday working animal.
