ANOTHER WAY TO REMEMBER WHO TO VOTE FOR  AND WHO NOT TO VOTE FOR

Yes, you already know that the 3Ms are the good guys--Mensinger, Monahan, McCarthy and that if you want Costa Mesa to improve, these are the guys to vote for.

However, these three got the short straws and their names ended up down stream on your ballot.

Meanwhile, the anti-improvers--liberals one and all--Stephens,Weitzberg, Genis  ended up 1,2,3 on the ballot.

So, here's another way to keep your reflexes from overriding your reason when you look at the ballot and get twitchy to vote for the first three--for no other reason than that you see their names first.

Remember this ditty:  1,2,3 be sure to flee, go to 4,5,7 a little like heaven.

HAVE YOU NOTICED...

That many of the people opposed to the 3Ms are a certain kind of woman, and that the few males who are on that side of things are, er, sensitive and when these sensitive men post their pictures in comments in the Daily Pilot these sensitive "men" are almost always shown with a woman?

So what are we to make of it?

Well, we think that many of the women who oppose the 3Ms just don't like MEN.  We further think that they then gravitate to sensitive (read unmanly) men.

Now, these dominatrices in mufti will deny it, of course, and they'll tell you about their loving (and sensitive husbands or boyfriends--read geldings), but...oh, excuse me, I hear one of those women over on the Eastside talking to her husband or boyfriend right now: "I thought I told you to do the dishes and vacuum the living room, I don't want to have to tell you this again, do you hear me?" And the mousy man replies: "Yes, dear.  Sorry, dear."

Now, where was I? Right.

To be clear, we might be more correct if we say that it is not men per se that these women despise, but maleness--it's the whole male thing--directness, aggressiveness  just getting things done without having a group therapy session first where everyone shares their feelings--that gets the panties of these women and their sensitive men in a bunch.
