No race/ethnicity given of the victim, but given that it's Rossmoor the greatest probability is that she's White.
No motive was given for the attack as the attacker didn't appear to want to sexually assault the woman or rob her. He just wanted to kill her.

The CM PRESS was over on the Eastside yesterday checking out parks for feeding stations for the homeless to help take the pressure off the Westside.
As we had thought, Harper Park may be one of the better locations where we can help homeless people get some nutrition and help.

ANOTHER ARTICLE ON THE HOAX HATE CRIME WHERE A BLACK WOMAN SET HERSELF ON FIRE
One of the problems with such hoaxes is that they act as blood libel against White people, as many gullible people believe the original stories and never see the stories where these incidents are proven to be hoaxes.
We recall one such hoax where a Black woman at a college wrote anti-Black words on her dorm door and hung a noose there. Then, all the usual liberal dimwits held teary candle light marches and group hugs against hate.
When it was proven that this Black woman was the one who wrote the words and put up the noose, the libs actually thanked her for reminding them that hate could happen. We kid you not.
Look folks, we've looked at many of these cases, and there are often common elements in them that immediately point to them being hoaxes. We won't list our criteria here, because haters of White people (which include a few self-hating White people right here in Costa Mesa) might use our criteria to hoax and fool people.
