For the State Assembly, you'll get to cast a vote for The Shrunken Head, The Guy With Sissy Hair or that nice fellow Allan Mansoor.
The two who get the most votes will then fight it out for the Assembly seat in November.
The smart money says The Guy With Sissy Hair will be eliminated tomorrow.

CHARTER
HERE'S the staff report for the proposed City Charter that will be discussed at tomorrow's regularly scheduled City Council meeting.
You might take a few minutes to read through the staff report and its attachments. It's a quick read.
The CM PRESS supports making Costa Mesa a charter city because we believe the best government is the government closest to the people. This charter takes some power away from Sacramento and gives it to Costa Mesans where it belongs.

SECOND REMINDER: I-405 WIDENING PROJECT MEETING TONIGHT
The meeting starts at 6 p.m. in the Orange Coast College Student Center.
This is one of those meetings where the officials pretend to listen to citizens after droning on with euphemisms to disguise what the plan really means. And, in this case, it means that the 405 is going to be a lot closer to some homes in Costa Mesa and that CAL TRANS may have to raze some homes to make this work.
