Brief version: The military is trying to take over the country and stay in power, while the Muslim Brotherhood is ramping up its rhetoric against this happening.
So, suppose you're the generals in charge of the military. Right now you're weighing your options and trying to figure the odds. If you try to stay in power, can you convince the majority of Egyptians that this is for their own good and thus head off a challenge from the Muslim Brotherhood, or will the people reject you and take to the streets to force you out of power? And, if they do take to the streets and force you out of power, will they kill you?
Stay tuned, things are happening very fast in Egypt, and what happens there is going to have short and long range effects on the U.S. in many ways.

Nature has set things up to help with the survival of the species in an ever changing universe. One of the ways it has done this is to set different biological clocks in men and women.
Nature is a frugal engineer and doesn't do things without a purpose. There is purpose in having two different biological clocks.
Here's what we mean. Women get all their eggs just once, and those eggs must last them through all their child bearing years. Those eggs and the genetic codes within them are stable and are set at the time the woman develops them. They'll remain that way until they are all gone.
Men, on the other hand, constantly produce new sperm, and this continues into old age. Because men are constantly producing new sperm, the genetic code within the sperm is also constantly produced and can be changed before it impregnates the woman's egg. This is nature's way of allowing changes in the genetic code so children who are produced will have a better chance of surviving as things in the world change.
Something as seemingly minor as changes in temperature cause changes in the male's genetic code contained in his sperm. These changes are then passed on to the new child in the 23 chromosomes that the male contributes to the new child.
However, nature doesn't want the species to change too fast, because changes in the environment may just be temporary.
So, to create some stability, the child receives a preset 23 chromosomes from the mother.
Because of the plasticity of their genetic codes, men are the main source of changes in the species, while women keep things from spinning out of control with their more stable genetic contribution.

You see, Blacks are the most invisible to the press except when they can be praised for something good. Hispanics come in second in this invisibility scam. Asians are slightly more visible to the press, and Whites are usually highly visible for the slightest wrongs they might do.

Folks, don't be one of those pitiful and neurotic Good Whites. If you see something or someone suspicious, call the CMPD at (714) 754-5252. They'll ask for your name, but you can just say you're a citizen and not give it. They'll still respond to your call.
What is suspicious?
--People "selling" door to door with no permit from Costa Mesa. They have to have one.
--Strange persons sauntering slowly through your neighborhood seeming to pay unusual attention to homes on both sides of the street.
--Persons who just look out of place in your neighborhood. Just use your common sense.
--Many burglars are slim and agile--it's kind of natural selection demanding this for their trade.
As we've reported before, the CM PRESS foiled one burglary in progress and stopped one burglar before he got into a house.
In the first case, the CM PRESS heard glass breaking in a neighbor's house and we were able to see a pair of legs of someone who was wriggling through the broken window and who was almost completely in the house.
We called the CMPD and they came out and went through the house and said there was no one there. We knew they were mistaken, because we had staked out the house after we had called the police, and we were certain the burglar was still inside. So, as the cops were getting ready to leave, we raised a stink and insisted that they do a more thorough search because we were convinced the burglar was still inside. The cops reluctantly called for a police dog and the dog finally located the burglar who had gotten up into the attic space and was hiding in the insulation.
Had we not been very pushy in insisting the cops search again, who knows what might have happened to the elderly woman who lived alone in that house when she returned latter in the evening.
In the second case, we saw a guy sauntering through our neighborhood checking out all the houses. He seemed to be particularly looking at ones with no cars out front. We called the CMPD and they stopped the guy and found that he was an illegal alien and that he was carrying burglar tools.
If your gut tells you someone or something is suspicious, call the CMPD at (714) 754-5252. If you're mistaken, no harm, no foul, but if you're right, you might help with crime prevention.

BOTH CANDIDATES IN EGYPT'S PRESIDENTIAL RACE ARE CLAIMING VICTORY
Official results won't be known until Thursday.
By claiming that they've won, based on their polls, both candidates are setting up a situation where they can claim the other side cheated after Thursday's official tally.
And, since both candidates are near the 50% mark in votes received, each one has millions of supporters who will feel justified in marching in the streets and causing problems for the country if the official count doesn't go their way.
Worst case scenario for Egyptians: Civil war in Egypt.
U.S. & Israel's preferred winner: Hosni Mubarak's former prime minister Ahmed Shafiq.
Most devout Muslim's preferred winner (we guess): The Muslim Brotherhood's candidate Mohammed Morsi.
