If you've been watching recent City Council meetings, you will have noted that Mayor Bever is doing a good job of keeping the meetings moving forward with a minimum of disruption by the nuts at night who have been infesting the meetings over the past few months.
This little group of liberal numbnuts continue to whine about everything the good Councilmembers do to try to improve Costa Mesa, and they continue to slither up to the podium meeting after meeting to say the same things in the same boring ways.
They offer nothing constructive. They give no ideas about how to make Costa Mesa nicer. Most just whine like low I.Q. dingbats as they mouth the usual expected things.
Fortunately, Bever and the other good Councilmembers are staying focused on improving our city, and aren't easily distracted by name calling and false ideas of what is important and what isn't.
And, speaking of someone who can't distinguish between what is important and what isn't, Wendy Leece has to be the prime public example of this.
Wendy has said (to paraphrase) that she wants to listen to every idea because every idea is important.
This is utter nonsense. Every idea is not important. Now, we understand that at its core, this listening to all ideas is a good thing in a human psychology sense in that it lets all citizens speak their minds and feel that someone is listening. And, this also often provides a safety valve for emotions. However, Wendy can't seem to tell the difference between good ideas and bad ideas, but her manner seems to encourage those with bad ideas to then whine even more when the bad ideas aren't accepted.
How many times have we heard some of these numbnuts claim that the good Councilmembers aren't listening to them? What these jerks are really saying is that the good Councilmembers haven't accepted their bad ideas.
One element of intelligence is the power of discernment. This is lacking in Wendy and some of her supporters.

Has Wendy done a single thing since her second term started? She has no ideas, no plans, just pandering to the lowest common denominator to make her look popular to everyone. She is so awful. Just so very, very awful.
