Sheriff Babeu is getting serious. No more sending people out to protect the border with bean bag guns. No more sneaking up on the bad guys and taking them peacefully. They'll be ordered to drop their guns and give themselves up or the Sheriff and his men will open fire.
Commenters are volunteering to be part of the effort and say they'll bring their own guns.

COSTA MESA CITY COUNCIL, PLEASE DON'T REINVENT THE WHEEL
As the new City Council starts business in the new year with new members Jim Righeimer and Steve Mensinger (yes, we expect him to be picked for Foley's seat), we hope the Council will use the West Side Plans that already exist to guide their actions on Westside improvement.
The one member of the Council who has the institutional memory of these plans is Eric Bever, so we hope that Mr. Bever will take the time to dust off the plans and give copies to the two new members.
