You can always delegate your authority: Thus, the states have delegated some of their authority to the feds to secure our borders.

However...

You can never delegate your responsibility: If the feds aren't doing the job that you delegated to them, then you, for your own safety, must do that job. Ultimately, you are responsible for your own safety.

She asked the arrogant and left wing Prime Minister, Gordon Brown, some perfectly proper questions while he was out campaigning, including one about immigration, and Brown, thinking no one could hear him, called her an "old bigot." Ooops. Everyone heard him.

Now the BNP is going to run newspaper ads about the incident. Could absolutely doom Brown's chances of winning election.

MAYOR MANSOOR'S PRESS CONFERENCE GOING ON RIGHT NOW (10:26 A.M.)

The CM PRESS was at the press conference for a few minutes. We were hoping for a press handout, but didn't see one. While there, we heard Mr. Mansoor giving the statistics about the crime we see in Costa Mesa that has an illegal alien nexus. And,the numbers were huge. So huge, that Costa Mesa might be as safe as Mayberry, absent the illegal alien crime and other problems we have related to illegals.

There were just a few people at the press conference--a couple of the usual Mansoor haters were in the audience, but they were silent while we were there, and we didn't see any protesters--and, there were a few print reporters and one TV news crew.

Standing in the middle of the center aisle, although there were plenty of seats, was none other than ultra liberal Flopsy Foley. Our guess is that she was hoping some of the reporters would notice her.

Although the City's TV station--Channel 24--was seen filming the press conference, for some reason, they did not broadcast it live and Channel 24 just continued to show static ads.
