TRUMP TO HOLD RALLY IN COSTA MESA ON THURSDAY

We'll be watching to see if any local GOP pols show up and endorse Trump.  If so, these local pols will get our vote in the election here locally.  If any oppose Trump, we'll work hard to try to dump them.

Trump is our red line for local politics this time around.  Not on the Trump train?  Screw you! And, we don't care what else you say you stand for.  If you claim to be a conservative or for improvement or whatever and think that will change things for us, you're wrong, and not only will we not vote for you, we'll join with liberals and anti-improvers to help defeat you.  Yup.  It's that big a deal for us.

NEW(?) RESEARCH; EVERYDAY STRESSORS CAN CHANGE HUMAN SPERM

I put (?) after NEW above because I've been writing about this for years.  The reality is that males provide the most novelty (read mutations both good and bad) in offspring.  Males are engineered by nature to produce new sperm everyday.  This allows changes in the sperm.  And, various things in life--wars and violence and good times and bad times and food that you eat or don't eat, good or bad relationships and just about everything that affects the inner or outer environment of a human male (and probably other animals as well), can change the dynamics and chemistry of the sperm that reaches the ovum.

By contrast, the human female's eggs (ova) are acquired once in her life and they are pretty much set in stone and don't change.  This gives stability to the species.

So, males allow nature to change our species fairly quickly if conditions change while the eggs hold the line and not allow too many changes.

So, what's this all about: changing sperm and non-changing eggs?  It's about survival of the species.
