BIG SPLIT IN CA. GOP IN THE OFFING?
It looks as though some of the GOP elites are backing Ted Cruz, while many in the grassroots back Trump. My guess is that this may have a big effect on who gets elected to the Costa Mesa city council, as those who want Trump fall out with those who support Cruz and the elites. What do you think? Am I all wet on this view? BTW it is not going unnoticed that the local GOP office is above Skosh Monahan's bar, and that elite Dana Rohrabacher backs Cruz.
Also, GOP elite Mike Schroeder is Cruz's California political director. Schroeder, as you may know, is the former California GOP chair.
